Successful trade show – EADV opens up new markets for plasma care®

With over 600 speakers and almost 16,000 participants, the annual EADV congress is Europe’s most important event in the field of dermatology and venereology. From October 11 to 14, we presented our plasma care® as part of the industrial exhibition there in Berlin.

Messestand EADV

For Viromed Medical and terraplasma medical the event was a visibly big step. On the one hand with a large exhibition stand, which offered space for extensive discussions and on the other hand with numerous, promising contacts to physicians and companies, mainly from Europe and Asia. Thus, after four days of the fair, we draw a very positive conclusion.

International interest is high

Especially for further internationalization, the EADV Congress was a complete success. After initial talks at our booth, we are in promising negotiations with some potential distributors. With Dr. Rawan Alkhatib and Dr. Saif Samhan from Jerash Drugstore in Jordan, the talks went so well that a preliminary contract has already been signed.

Exchange of experience with dermatologists from all over Europe

For the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, cold plasma has already frequently entered the minds of dermatologists as a therapeutic option. Here, plasma care® impressed visitors above all with its ease of use and the possibility of mobile application. The therapy comes to the patient – a unique selling point of plasma care®.
Our booth visitors discussed the potential of cold plasma in the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases such as acne, psoriasis or perioral dermatitis with great interest. After all, the areas of application for cold plasma in dermatology are very broad. In the coming years, many application observations and clinical studies will certainly follow and provide a better data basis.

We are already looking forward to the next EADV congress in Amsterdam in 2024.
